Durga Conference


The Mother Goddess is known in her benevolent form as Parvati (the Daughter of the Mountains), Sati (the Virtuous), Gauri (the Fair One), Annapurna (the Bestower of Food), Uma (Light or Beauty), and Mahadevi (the Great Goddess). In her grim form, the Mother Goddess is known as Chandi (the Fierce), Kali (the Conqueror of Time), Bhairavi (the Terrible), and Durga (the Inaccessible).


The Durga Conference consists of :

Located in the East Zone, the conference includes 9 universities spread over West Bengal. The cities of Baradhaman, Kolkatta, Kharagpur, Medinipur, Nadia and Santiniketan are directly involved in the competition. There are no neutral sites.

There are no astro-turf fields in the Durga Conference. Doordarshan studios are located at Kolkatta.
